What kind of animal is this!? Some sort of squirrel

My buddy got this on his trailcam in southern Indiana. We've never seen anything like it, and no one seems to know what it is.

Or maybe it's one of them imported Himalayan Mountain Squirrels? Looks to be about twice as big as a normal Fox squirrel.

Well, in truth it was really, really cold last week and this fox squirrel went and bought an insulated coat and liked it so much it just grew on him!
Check with Purdue extension service, they might have your answer. I might trap it, but I wouldn't shoot it.
