Just thinking about what if situations today and I came up with this. Would or could any legal issues come from having a loaded mag on a K-12 school property? No gun just the loaded mag.

I can't think of anything. :dunno: The bullets aren't going anywhere without a gun.

I wish the same thing could be said about an empty gun: no bullets = no violation. That way, you could carry the gun and I could carry the magazine and we would both be within the law. Then if something happened we could be like the Wonder Twins and activate our Glock/S&W/Sig/Springfield/H&K/CZ/High Point Powers, to defeat the bad guys! :rockwoot:

Since the law specifically says "weapon" and "firearm" there shouldn't be any legal issues. Now would it give them reasonable suspicion to search your vehicle since your on government property, probably. And with this search if they were to come up with a firearm in a vehicle that was unoccupied, They would charge you. But the law has some sort of loophole where if your in the vehicle and just dropping off/picking up a student your alright. Just have to remain in the vehicle at all times.

I still wonder if you work for a school system and the property is owned by the school system. But not a school or even close to a school where does that fit in?
