    .. " those boys just couldn't stay put. "

Man watches massive SWAT style raid on his house from local bar | The Agitator

If the government thinks you're going to commit suicide .
    How do they respond ?
    They send out SWAT .

SWAT commander on bull horn .
" Hey cry baby .... come out of the house . We are here to save your life .
Come out of the house NOW!! Or we will come in with guns and if you resist we will kill you . "

Ring .. ring .. " Hey LT it's for you ... it's the guy that is suppose to be killing himself ... well he's at the bar down the street .. watching us on tv . "

Only the government will use the threat of deadly force to save you from yourself .

    Thanks
    Duncan

HELLO !! Suicidal is homicidal. Is that to complicated to understand?

    So ?

What person or property that is not the owners is at harm ?
    None .

Is a man's life not his own to do with as he pleases as long he causes not harm to others ?

    Thanks

This is exactly why I personally don't see anything at all wrong with assisted suicide.

People who live on or near Babette Court said this is not the first time Oak Forest have been called about the man in the burgundy house.
While most in the cul-de-sac didn't want to talk on camera, they said they were concerned about him blowing something up. The man who lives there liked fireworks and other explosives.

There's your problem right there, just goes to show you that most people are idiots.

there are very few circumstances where I think SWAT is a justified or appropriate use. stopping someone from killing themselves isnt one of them. if you wanna off yourself then do it.

Heck yea. Only problem is people bent on suicide sometimes like to have company. Suicidal calls are dealt with extreme caution. You never know what a suicidal person is willing to do. They are very unpredictable. They are dealt with accordingly.

Surely capturing the depressed dude at gunpoint and releasing him in a few hours will fix his problems and save the community.

All this based on some anonymous phone call...

I could care less what you or anyone else calls them. It doesn't change what they are or might be. In this state with PC they are detained on a 24 hour committal. Then the people that deal with those types of issues determines if they need further help.

    Anyone might be homicidal.

I guess that is why we gun owners are treated the way we are during traffic stops. Disarmed because we might be homicidal.

Don't know. I don't disarm gun owners on traffic stops. And yea anyone can be homicidal. But a person threatening suicide is already showing possible homicidal tendencies. Especially if they make the call themselves. The majority of suicidal calls we go on are called in by the person who claims to be suicidal. So they probably don't want to kill themselves but they are defiantly not in their right state of mind. Put a firearm in the mix and you have a situation that can be lethal. Only a fool goes on a call like that half cocked and with the mindset nothing is gonna happen..
