ok going to start another AR build soon.... trying to decide what buffer to use... i will be using mil spec buffer tube and spring and will be runninga 16" barrel with mid length gas system spikes upper adn lower with a spikes BCG... i am wanting to have as little recoil as possible as i want my wife and son to use this one... my last AR ran a 18"barrel with mid length gas system and i ran an "H" buffer in it and it wasnt bad... let me know what you guys think......thanks in advance

Your kit will come with a carbine buffer. Buy an H3 buffer and then take all the tungsten weights out of it. Swap one tungsten weight with one steel weight from the carbine and you will have made it an H buffer. If it cycles reliably, try swapping another tungsten weight with a steel weight and that's an H2 buffer. This method is cheaper than buying an H, H2, etc until you find the right one
