Was snowed in today

Man we got a lot of snow today! I almost got stuck trying to get out of the driveway. I took off to make it to a class this morning and the roads were WAY too bad. Ended up turning around.

I did make some money plowing snow though!

Our projected 3 inches turned out to be a sorry excuse for a dusting.



Can someone tell me why I ever bother checking the weather? I checked accuweather last night WHILE IT WAS RAINING and it said the skys were clear.

We got a couple inches here with more on the way...don't think the ice under it is going anywhere soon either.

I did think it was funny that just a day ago they were predicting a dusting. I just shoveled five inches of "dusting" off my "ice way". And to think, they are predicting a couple of inches for Sunday night into Monday. Should we prepare for a foot!!!

We got probably 2 inches. I didn't measure it but 2-3 seems about right from when I was shoveling. I never watch the news because it isn't like the weatherman is ever right and even if he was, nothing we can do to change a storm.

agreed...however there were still a lot of people out driving with NO common sense showing, switching lanes to dodge between cars, driving too fast, etc
