Some friends and I tried to go shooting yesterday at Wilbur Wright and once we got there the gates were shut as if the range was closed. We arrived at around 4:25 P.M so we had enough time to shoot as the range is open from 8 to 5. Well we were looking around for a sign to say if there was a reason as to why they were "closed" and while there we saw a few cars behind us come and go after they saw the gates shut. I will also mention to before we left, we could hear gunfire so we know there were people back there shooting but again the gates were shut as if the place was closed.
My question is if anyone knows what was going on yesterday or does Wilbur Wright allow private range day uses or something? I am just confused about what happened.
