My cousin brought over a WALTHER P22 that wouldn't function. After disassembling it we determined the hammer spring was broken.

I sent the first e-mail to Walther on 8/29. Here it is 9/12 and I haven't gotten a responce back yet. This has got to be the worst customer service I've seen in a looooong time. I just sent the 2nd one today, we'll see if they answer this one.

Just had to vent on this, I'm not expecting them to send one for free, but at least reply back and give me a price for the spring. About to check Midway and Brownell's to see if they carry them.

When I lost a spring on my P22, I called them and had one in the mail 3 days later.

    You should call them instead.

On my P22 I sprung the barrel wrench, and then wrecked the barrel nut using vice grips. When I called about a replacement the young man I spoke with was very nice and indicated that they would send replacements at no charge, which they did. The only problem was that they were slower than molasses in winter about getting it shipped.
