Very Pleasant Saturday at Atterbury

This Saturday my son and I went to Atterbury to shoot my new Marlin XL7 30-06. It was good having the range up an running, as it's the closest range for me to shoot a centerfire rifle. The guys there are doing a great job with a skeleton crew.

If you're planning on going, you have to go to the shotgun range house to pay, as there's only one register to pay for range time.

Aside from getting some scope rash on the bridge of my nose (that thing really kicks!), we had a great time. Thanks for having it open on weekends.

i heard they were closing it down or at least changing the the people who run it.
