Vermont, Constitutional Carry, and Obama?

Does this seem odd to anyone else?

Obama is projected to win Vermont, but Vermont is a Constitutional Carry State.. which would seem to indicate it is more Conservative..

Trying to wrap my head around it..

Vermont is Constitutional Carry by very very old laws, and has had no reason to revisit them.

I am not surprised. My sister-in-law lived in Vermont almost 27 years. They have seen a big migration of former city dwellers from Boston and NYC. Lots of 'cottage industry' (ie. artists etc.). I believe that is subsidized to some extent by the state.
