Over on BersaTalk they are saying summer of this year. Apparently they are already listed on some online sites like impactguns.com.

Looks like they're aiming squarely at the Kahr CW9/Kel-Tec PF9 market in terms of size and price. Or the Taurus PT709 (oh wait, that doesn't exist yet, despite being on their website for 5 months...).

Will be interesting to check one out in person. The mag disconnect and the high price of mags are deal-breakers for me, but we sell an absolute crap-ton of Bersas at the shop (though they've been nigh on impossible to get lately), and I expect this one will be no different.

All the sites like Buds, Valor, Bersapistols etc are listing it already. $328 for the base model. The specs all say ambi safety, but I sure don't see one in that pic.

Shooter 521 - I've been seeing Taurus 709's around... They do exist. 738's on the other hand.... I think that the Easter Bunny is packing those!

dang it, I'm already trying to decide on a keltec pf9 or a taurus 709, and now bersa's gotta step into the ring as well!! Sure doesn't make my choice any easier..lol
