Should the title read "Reversed" though instead of "Reserved?" I was trying to figure out how they were "reserve" Type 1 diabetes and why they would want to do that.

There have been a lot of human diseases cured in mouse subjects, but unfortunately most don't work on humans. From someone who has a family member deep in medical research, don't get your hopes up when mice are cured.

Human embryonic stem cell research does not equal mice stem cell research.
And the government does not pay for all research into things.
