Trying to find a good company to have a Thompson Center Barrel made, there company that does it for them is behind and they arent taking orders. Im looking for a company to make a .458 Socom barrel for the Indiana deer season and want a good company. Also looking for a round that would be good but not have to handload that might even be better.

Curious why you want a 458 Socom if your not using the AR platform? One of my buddies got a deer legal barrel for his TC from BFG Design and its fantastic. (handloading will be involved) They are a site supporter here and offer a few options.

I got a quote for a .358 Hoosier barrel from them and turn around time is right around 4 weeks they said.

Match Grade Machine makes Contender barrels. They list several .458 calibers but the Socom isn't shown on the website. I'd give them a call.
