So last weekend I went to a poker game with my cousin. We are sitting around this guys garage playing Holdem with 14 total players. Not a bad time at all and six hours later, I took 2nd place (Paid top three).
Anyhow, during the course of the night people were commenting on the poker table that we were playing at and how nice it was. I will admit, it was a nice table, but it wasn't that nice in my book. Well, anyhow, one of the people that was falling all over this table was my cousin. By the end of the night, he had gotten pricing from the guy to have one built for him just like that one. I thought for the quality of work that it was overpriced, but that was just my opinion.
We left that night and I spoke to my cousin and told him to hold off a week before commiting to purchase. He told me that he would wait and just to let him know.
So this weekend, I went to the garage and started putting it together. By Sunday evening, I had it all done, wrapped up and delivered it to my cousin on the Southside. I was very happy with the way it came out, but the next one will be better. His brother has already made a deposit on getting one just the same as his. I am thinking that the third one that I do will be in IU colors. White playing field, Red arm rest with White stripes.
Thought I would share. Post up your thoughts. End to end, this table is 4'x8' and weighs about 75#. This is a table topper style, but could easily be made into a free standing table.
Obviously, my cousins are Colts fans! lol
