I want to use my Ti-Rant 9 that has the tri-lug attachment on it. I have been searching and have seen some mention of the MPX having a taper on the threads that has to be considered. In Lead We Trust apparently fixes that. I see recommendations for the HKParts and Griffin devices. Looking for thoughts if anyone has done this to their MPX.

If you have a taper on the barrel threading / muzzle, you'll need a taper adapter to keep the suppressor from working loose. Q does the same thing, and they sell taper adapters to square off the barrel for a standard suppressor. Since their mounts are designed for cherry bombs (tapered brakes), they require the adapter for any other mount.

The taper design is to prevent carbon from building up on the threads and making the removal of the suppressor much more difficult. I didn't realize the MPX has a tapered threading, but if it does, you'll need this part for it.

The ILWT tri lug adapter I believe has the correct taper on it. When I went down this road a couple years ago, I ended up going with the ILWT barrel with the tri lug attachment and 1/2-28 threads on it. Send them an email and they will tell you what exactly you need. Great customer service.
