I picked up 20 brats and buns and four bags of chips. I'll be bringing a table and a bucket with some hand soap and some bottled water for washing up.

This sounds like SOOO much fun!! I have just GOT to figure out how to be in two places at once. . . . !!!!! :)

Maureen and I arrived back in Fort Wayne at 9:30. We drove through a tornado near Delphi and that was a lot of fun!! A roof was laying in the middle of Hwy 25. Maureen carried her .38 in a fanny pack and I OC'd. We had dinner at Bob Evans in Wabash. I was blown away by the training and the competence demonstrated by the ladies, including my wife and the trainers. I am also very grateful to the organizers. It was a huge day and very successful. We made new friends and hope to continue the collegiality. NOw, we have to practice. I'm going to be the BG and my wife is going to have to fight me. We'll see how that goes.

Try it again, I was trying to embed it so it didn't take you to the photobucket page but played it here, like a youtube video. Maybe you tried the link while I was editing it.

The only pictures I have are the same ones you do but from the side instead of our butts. :D

My group picture doesn't have jeepcrazed in it. :(

    I'll uploading them tonight.

So yesterday, June 4th a group of ladies meet in a gravel pit in 98 degree weather to take some basic pistol self defense training from HandK.

The first thing HandK does it put a group of armed women on the line and tells them to shut their eyes and shoot. WHAT THE HECK!!! Does he really want armed women shutting their eyes and shooting??? Is he already suffereing from heat stroke???

Nope he was serious. You stood ? feet away from a target, shut your eyes, drew your gun and shot. Not moving your gun after shooting you opened your eyes and looked at where you were aiming(hopefully center mass), where your shots went and your grip position. This was a slow excercise, he didn't want speed but wanted you to focus on your grip, stance and muscle memory to put your aim in the right position. These are my pups and their groups. :)

Next we stepped up to within arms length of the target(Bad Guy) and learned to draw our weapon, keeping it close to our body and just above the holster and shooting in that position. We shot at the pelvic bowl and no one was shy about putting a number of bullits in the BG either.;)

One of the later excercises was doing a sweep up with your off arm to knock away the BG's gun, arm, and or head, while drawing our weapons, placing the butt of the gun toward our side, keeping the gun close to our bodies and firing. I believe I heard HandK say we were suppose to be shooting at center mass, but as you can see from the pictures, we like shooting at that pelvic bowl. :D
