Tourniquet review

If you are new to tourniquets this is a great review to read.

While I personally find the SOFTT-W my favorite I find that it is not a do all as I like the RATS as it can be used on very small limbs such as a child or dog, I even like the SWAT-T as it gives you a great backup tourniquet but more importantly a pressure bandage.

Softt is my choice.

SOFT is my first choice. The RAT is great also. You make a SWATT out of a bike inner tube for a quarter of the price.

SOFFT-W, and CAT for me. I also carry an original SOFFT

I find the TK4 to be much better than the SWAT-T.

I like the versatility and compactness of the SWAT-T.
It takes some practice to apply on yourself with one hand though.

I keep a TK4 taped to my rifles buttstock. They are a great option that I completely forgot about...kinda sad.

We are issued and train with the CAT. We have used them with success.

I keep a SOFTT-W in my trauma kit

doesn't really matter what you carry, just train with it , so you are comfortable with using it
