Yesterday after Church, Austin and I went to Pop Guns to try out the new Valquartsen trigger and sear we installed on his Mark III Hunter/Target,,, all I can say is that this trigger is a must have, great fun and it gives you a light trigger, they say @ 2.5 lbs, an adjustable travel and reset, the Mark III is a very accurate .22 for sure,

We also took the Kahr PM40 to the range to shoot for the first time,,, I was surprised at how much this pistol kicks, it was hard to hold onto the gun with the small magazine, basically I can only get two fingers on the grip with the short mag so I only used the extended magazine,,,,,, but,, it felt much better with the extended mag. I shot some Hornaday SD ammo and it shot fine, plus @ 50 rounds of Precision Cartridge ammo as well, with no issues. I will shoot some more thru this at the next outting and try for better accuracy, I shot at 12 feet and as Mr. T said so adeptly, "I pity the fool" that gets hit at 12 feet with this pistol round..:twocents:

Don't feel bad about your PM40. Most people who shoot one for the first time are surprised by how much it kicks. Of course, after practice most figure out how to properly hold it an find it a great defensive weapon.

Thanks for the range report on yours! I have the PM9 and it is with me almost all the time I am out. I have heard the PM45 is somewhere between the PM9 and PM40 for recoil, and one day I just might have to check it out.

    ENJOY!

I understand why they call the .40 "snappy",, my dads CW.45 has less recoil than the PM40, for sure! I still like the M P40, no plans to change

I have the PM9 and like it quite a bit. I shot the PM45 a few months ago and I it was a bit of a handful.
