Colorado passed the high capacity magazine ban, Magpul said they would leave if it did pass. 600 jobs and 85 million in taxes Colorado apparently doesn't need. I guess weed will replace it.

Supposedly 200 are directley related to Magpul with the other 600 within the supply chain elswhere. All for jobs coming here but I suspect Texas will get a larger bit of any that move. Better on tax rates. ZERO income tax, around 75.00 for car tags etc etc etc. Lot of employers look at those things when relocating.

As much as I would like to have them here it would make more sense for them to move to a state closer to Colorado. Moving all that manufacturing stuff can't be cheap. Although I think a state government incentive package would up the ante to any potential new locale. Wasn't Indiana using tax incentives in the past to encourage companies to develop here?

It's not just the stomping on our rights but HOW MANY JOBS WILL THE DEMS DESTROY with their socialist stupidity.
Voting for the DEMS is like social and economic suicide.
F them and their mindset. F anyone that sh..ts on Americans and their rights.
Al Queda should recruit from the Dem Natl Convention. IT's the fastest way to destroy our way of life.

I wouldn't mind them coming to B-town, maybe I could work there in the summers!:):

I was living there when Walmart announced they wanted to build there, the first time. If the hissy fits the libs threw over that are any indication...can you imagine if a "purveyor of death" announced they wanted to move there?!?!?

Well we shall see how this plays out. Remember there are some major manufactures in unfriendly states. It cost money to move and money and profits motivate any business.

I emailed my county commisoner some of the details... Northern Indiana has a awesome manufacturing base. We could replace or help any company with Magpul reset here in no time. Thats just between Elkhart and LaGrange. Im sure Ft Wayne has some assets also. I would tell them to stay out of the peoples republic of South Bend and Bloomington.

I'm sure Fort Wayne would welcome the jobs with open arms as long as its not in the city itself. Mayor Henry would not like it, but how can you say no to more jobs?

I'm going to contact a few people I know at PRD. They're an inject mold company just north of Bedford and could easily handle the excess plastic inject mold work. That many jobs would make an impact on Lawrence County.

While it would be nice to have them here, there is a lot that goes into choosing the site that a company calls home. For many reasons, Indiana doesn't compare favorably to many other places that are also gun friendly. The odds of Magpul, or other companies, coming to Indiana is slim.

    Right over there!
The bill hasn't passed just yet. They took a preliminary vote. A final vote was pending. It's only a matter of time. The Dems control the Senate and the Governor is also a Dem.
