can anyone give me any info on what can be done without breaking the bank?
i have a brand new 12ga rifled slug barrel for my encore, my problem is i have tried every brand of bullets and i cant seem to get any of them to group real well. i do have a limb saver pad on the gun. it seems to be a heavy barrel. i have even changed scopes and rings thinking that might be it,but it wasnt. the barrel is not ported.
so any info or ideas would and could only help thanks

In my experience it is probably the recoil pad you are using.I have had several recoil pads,and you will note on most of the new ones the say something like"now with new improved accuracy ect..". I stopped using recoil pads on all my rifles and saw some improvement in accuracy. I use a PAST pad when shooting high recoil now,with no noticeable loss of accuracy. Hope that helps.

thanks but i tried that today and it didnt help.
i wonder if i had the barrel ported would that help with the muzzle jump?
