An interesting explanation of the dem party. This Explains why there is not a big fight like in the republican party.

    From the article:

President Joe Biden is now 80 years old. Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is 83. Rep. Steny Hoyer, D-Md. heis 83. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., is 72, Senator Diane Feinstein, D-Calif., is 89. James Clyburn, D-S.C., is House minority whip and 82.

These are the official faces of the Democratic Party.

They came into power and maturity three decades ago during the Clinton years of 1993-1999.

Decades ago, they sometimes supported strong national defense, secure borders, gas and oil development, fully funding the police, and a few restrictions on partial-birth abortions.

    Not now.

Their role has changed from that of liberals of the Clinton era to serving as the thin power-holding veneer that masks the new real Democratic Party.

Their final role is to acculturate the electorate to the new Democratic Party.

Its radicals are breathing down their necks to get out of the way. Yet for a while longer they still need such an ossified veneer of respectability to ease the transition to what is now essentially a socialist-European green party.

The role of a calcified Biden, Pelosi, Feinstein, Hoyer, or Clyburn is to reassure voters through their notoriety and apparently staid exteriors that they are hardly the sort to embrace revolution, although that is exactly what they do.

Keep going back to Johnson and what all he did. It was the time he bought the black vote but used a different name for it. Up till about that time most blacks voted R. 90% now vote D and according to Johnson they will be for at least another 140 years. And unless they wise up they will continue to be slaves on the democrat plantation. Chuck Norris said years ago that democrats have gone so far left they are communist and the Republican Party has gone so far left they are now the Democrats of the 70’s. We lost the Conservative Party decades ago. You got two main parties. Communist and Democrats. I wish they would just come out and admit it. Doubt it would change anything though.

Yep, it was especially noticeable under Trump when everyone complained about how conservative he and the Republicans were at the same time they were spending trillions of dollars that we didn't and don't have.

I voted for Trump in both general elections. If he wins the nomination I will likely vote for him again. But I am not going to pretend he is as conservative as I would like.
We had that chance in '64, and the country club republicans were just as afraid of real conservatism then as they are of populism today

Selling the rope they'll be hung with since Coolidge

The Democratic Party is nothing less than the Communist Party of the United States. It has been for years.

Just read their platform. It is subversive to Constitutional rule, it is based on "class struggle", it is founded in the identities of oppressor and victim, and bases it's economic policies on confiscation and redistribution.

Don't elect Communists, evict them. Meet one, give them a form DS-4080 and instruct them to emigrate to the utopia of their choice. I recommend China, Cuba, North Korea, Venezuela, or Vietnam.

The problem is, who that is as conservative as we would like, can get elected?

INGO has a delusion that we are some kind of majority and that we can rule. Stick on principle. REALITY CHECK, we are not a majority. Therefore we must be strategic but I see a lot of high minded posting and not much pragmatic posting with a plan to increase our ranks…
