Woke up with sore throat and beginning of the crud yesterday. Dang I hate being sick- and while on vacation. Been jamming on homeopathic remedies.

The spouse puts potato's and carrots in the beans. Onions and other secret herbs and spices. It is pretty much a complete meal.

Neither did we growing up and the 1st few years we were married.
I was looking at the pot (crock) of beans and thought it would be pretty cool to add some veggy's. We did and it is a mainstay now.
If you try it you will stay with it hillbilly or no...
