I have new shoes on 2 of the rigs and they are due for rotation. I look at the brakes and everything while the tires are off. Good way to catch things before they go seriously bad.

Yup, I was thinking about pulling the drums just to inspect the rear brakes, since I haven't looked at them since I put them on about 2 years ago. 'Tis better to find out before things go wrong.

I did the rears on the Van last October before we rolled all over the eastern seaboard. Still gonna check and adjust.
We need to service both the diff's on my pick-up truck. Have to drop the front skid plate to do the steering axle.
