    Ouch. I know I was lucky. (at about three weeks I started slowly mixing rice into her formula)
    The doc told us not to give him rice until he was over 6 months, she said if it was done to early it can cause digestive problems. One good thing is when he does get up in the middle of the night he always greets you with a smile and coo:D

    Ours said not to feed any rice for 6mo too, and no "solid" food until 1 year. I did it slowly and we didn't have any issues.

    I remember that. Really hard to be annoyed with them. Funny how just holding them sitting in a rocking chair at 3am can be a really great time.

    My oldest son was gumming soft foods as soon as my mom could sneak them in him. Mashed potatoes were a big hit

    For my oldest the rice in the bottle was the big hit. He just couldn't get enough to eat and was waking up every two or three hours. The doc we had at the time had to be 80 years old. He said to give that boy something heavy on his stomach and he will sleep all night. He was right.
