I'm still waiting on a link to that forecast.
Is a heavy forecast in central IN forecasted?
My contacts are pretty well connected. They said the big one coming mid next week was going to be a rain snow event. Depending where the dividing line came through will set up whether we get rain or a butt load of snow. Several inches was how it came to me.
That said this is Indiana and the weather does exactly what it wants to do.
Olive Garden has the waitress punch everything in at a post on a computer.there is no one standing there. Maybe that's where we're getting messed up! They take their receipt to a computer and punch it in! At the end of the day they add the receipts up with the cash and credit cards. If she punches in a soup and salad or uses a coupon she had hidden in their apron they can make hundreds every night! They do about 2000 customers a day! Easy to scam when that amount is coming in.
I went to florida once and since it was pointed south they used it as a bridge to cuba
Well, I see the night shift has come on board.
Nite all.
Where do you live mom?I'm pretty sure where we live will be snow. The last map I saw was showing about 16 inches for our area. I don't know where they are going to put it when they plow....it is already very deep along the sides of the roads and piled up so high at the intersections that you can't see around it.
Oh, we're talking about Darden? Lol, I may have just a wee bit of knowledge on the subject...
SD, you are not fully understanding the scam. The way you described it is simply not possible with the KDS and Back Office systems that Darden uses. What is possible is ringing in soup/salad REFILLS on one table and then serving that soup and salad to another table who is paying cash and just pocketing the cash. Another common scam involves servers bringing in their own coupons and applying them to checks after collecting cash for the non-discounted amount. The server then pockets the face value of the coupon as cash. Adds up quick with those $10 off $20, or $10 off $30 weeknight deals.
This behavior is what led me to require manager visits to all tables presenting a coupon on a cash check. I would "thank them for coming in" and let them know when to "be on the lookout for more coupons like the one they used tonight". If the server was scamming, the table would have no clue what I was talking about.
I had a guy rack up over a grand in a loyalty card scam before I was able to catch him. Got to go to court on that one.
SNS, did you see this last night?
Wow...now that I can see happening. Scary that people come up with these ways to cheat their employer.
