Yep, me too. Had this car since 2008 and have never had to change the thermostat. It's got 270K miles on it, so I will try that first.

Good info, hello m45!Could also be the heater core. Mine was plugged and hubby refused to tear apart the dash and do all the labor to change it...flushed it somehow and now it cooks us out of the vehicle!

Dang, I think the thermostat is broken in the wifes car. She was complaining the heater wasn't working right.
Just drove it and had it running about 30 minutes. Heat gauge never got abouve the 3/8 notch and normal operating temp is the 1/2 notch or slightly above.
