Yes it does. The last few winters it hasn't been cold enough to freeze it all the way or for very long. This year it's froze solid.

Its rare when it doesn't completely freeze over. Only once that I can remember that it didn't. That was 3 winters ago. It probably has 6 to 8 inches of ice now

I may consider the drive if the price is right...As this moment, I need the timing chain replaced and the engine time. I suspect the chain stretched a bit.


Eventually I'll need it rebuilt, you know, keep on chugging...

I'm good at lurking. Today I seem to have ADD. Can't decide what to do or what to make. Have a huge pot of ham and beans simmering in the crock pot. Put on a pot of chicken soup so that's simmering. Going to bake sourdough bread and have a recipe setting out for corn muffins too. We have four friends coming for dinner and one does not like ham and beans so I'm making different soup...pretty sure I'm going to end up putting soup in the freezer! I'll take some to the neighbor too, but nobody should leave hungry!
