Having been in the HVAC trade all of my life I can almost feel what kind of winter is coming by how the summer was and what happens in the fall. Not a trained weather guy (they are wrong a lot) but just look at things as a farmer would. I told the wife we were going to have a real winter this year. BINGO. This is real.

I have the wood stove stoked and hot. Warm in here.
Think I am going down to the LGS and get my new 1911 out of the layaway.....

I plum forgot that it was Friday. It must be payday too. I've been scurrying all morning. Thought it was going to a good day when are morning meeting was cancelled. I jumping with jump because I really didn't feel like dealing with anything today.....then I get a phone call. We need you up here NOW!. Emergency meeting. Those are never any good. Except this one.
