So much for the "Cops in the UK dont carry guns" that I sometimes read on this forum.

What would my old village Bobby make of these swaggering RoboCops toting assault rifles that fire 750 rounds a minute? | Mail Online

Not sure if they really need all that for regular patrols in parks.

Yeah and on the other hand most of their cops are just armed with pepper spray and a baton.
Having no handgun sounds silly to me just like having a long gun all the time, not just for SHTF like in the US.

I'm not either.There is usually no violence when small or medium clubs are involved.
Hooligans (usually neo-nazi groups) just show up to fight with the police and whoever is there.
They dont care about soccer and usually travel all around Europe just looking for trouble.
