Nice! We don't do much Mexican food here. Mostly because I can't make "real" Mexican food and I'm spoiled :):

My wife, who was already an outstanding cook, had to undergo some culinary training as part of her schooling to become a Dietitian. She had a year and a half training in a commercial kitchen. :yesway:

Yep, this girl is a Keeper.:D

I can cook. I'm buy no means a culinary expert but I can cook. Problem with Mexican food is that my aunt is from Mexico. So I grew up eating a lot of authentic Mexican food. And no matter how hard I try I just can't recreate it. It always turns out good, but not like hers. She made some soup one time that I thought was for her dog. It had a couple whole chicken legs floating in it, an ear of corn, a carrot. A ton of stuff. All whole. Best soup I ever ate. I couldn't make it for the life of me.

Understand completely. We love Indian Food. No matter how we cook it, it will never taste as good as something a native can complete.

Exactly. I got spoiled by her cooking. So now nothing tastes as good. And I have another aunt who's from Korea. Although my Yaki Mandu is good, it doesn't even compare to hers :):

    Ummm.....that's really weird.

I heard a group of 3 or 4 people walking in the street right under my window.
They could have been on foot or on bike.:dunno:
The window was on the first floor and wide open.
After that I heard a loud noise outside and then nothing. The street is totally dark (it's over midnight here).
By the time I go outside nobody was there but I found the top of a solar light by the window in the bushes.
Not sure if they threw it against the house, or tried to aim at the open window or at one of the closed ones. :dunno:
