Yep, but my local range is closed today, they are having some kind of black powder muzzle loader shoot.

I don't think I want to be around after they pour black powder and a ball down the barrel.

Black powder gun are scary.Especially the revolver types where all the chambers can fire at once.

Well you could still handcuff yourself to the bed to avoid going there.

Afternoon INGO. Good day so far. Wife says she wants to shoot some rifle. Out to 'brave the heat'.

Got cut short with some serious looking clouds and wind approaching... though now it looks like it is clearing up!
We were also interrupted with a surprise visit from my 17 yr old niece, who has never shot a gun of any kind (not even a bb gun). She wanted to shoot, so she called her mother for the OK.
Didn't want to bore her with the details, so we covered the 4 rules, and basic shooting fundamentals for her first 5 rounds. I did not have her use a sling, or breathing...
She shot a really good group (maybe 2") from 25 yards with the 10/22. Then we shot 3 sighters, this time using the sling, concentrating on trigger press and reset.
Pictured at left, is her 3 round group. The 6th, 7th, and 8th rounds she has ever shot in her life. Not too shabby! Thanks Appleseed!
