That's what I said, drove a little two door grandam all the time we had kids in the house. Now that I don't have any children in the house, I have a mini-van, go figure.

Thanks, now I really do feel old. I much prefer to drive our 2500HD Chevy with the duramax diesel in it. There is a big difference in fuel mileage though, so sometimes I jsut have to woman up and be practical.

honestly that is the one thing I can say never about with certainty.
The hubby was looking at them at one time, told him I'd walk... I was dead serious too
we now have my small SUV (Saturn Vue) and his 1500HD Chevy pickup... gas mileage sucks though.

We own a minivan because we needed something to carry 2 teenagers, my wife's parents and ourselves at the same time without spending a fortune on the vehicle or fuel. It also had to be easy for the in-laws to get in and out of, the dual sliding doors and lower height of the van were hard to beat for that.

Now that I'm done rationalizing, I still don't like to drive it.

^^^ This is me minus the teenagers...we need to put medicab on top of our van. We are forever taking one of the three parents somewhere. It is great for them.
