no, just checked her temp a bit ago it been running 101-102 now it's 102.6

you know she messaged me on facebook yesterday. she is so cute. I had just left the vet so it was a nice distraction.

i know, she's been pretty much restricted to her bedroom. so I let her have my laptop so she has been fb chatting me so she doesn't have to speak loud. her throat hurts, nasty headache, fever, and then the stuffy/runny nose to boot. sounds like flu to me kurt says strep. IDK but i hate her being sick. when she gets fevers like this it usually gives her huge hives.

I am so glad my youngest is 14. She is pretty much out of the "Mystery virus/Strep" phase. She hasn't missed a day this year.

I've had my fair share of strep myself, as an adult. When they say it's hard for an adult to have their tonsils out, they speak the truth. Just had them out 2 years ago... ouchie. lost almost 10 lbs in 2 weeks.

yep they will run a strep in house there and script her. I used med check a lot for mine

call ahead to make sure they do where you're going

The people really liked the Jeep today. This guy's wife and BIL came to check it out, but the guy is the one who will be buying it. He travels for work, so he's going to come drive it on Saturday. He said as long as it looks as good as the wife and BIL say we'll be able to come to a deal.

Skip the gagging test for strep and ask if they will prescribe the same drugs. If her tonsils look like this:

Then she has strep.

they wouldn't for me and I was in for the 3rd time in a short period of time. It was to the point they didn't trust their own test and sent it to the lab. wouldn't give me meds until it came back.. I was pissed to say the least. If you have a doctor they may prescribe without the test, nurse practitioners at med check however can not.

strep is very contagious, so it doesn't surprise me
