It would be nice if they just went home

I really get tired of dogs just running all over. I can deal with the cats that come and eat the food in the garage, but I don't need dogs here. Cats are a little harder to keep at home sometimes.

Is that the meat bait pile behind the dogs Mom

Yep. Hubby went to the local meat processing place yesterday and they gave him two barrels full of scraps. They just dumped them in the bed of the truck so he just shoveled it all out into the pile. All that was left of the last deer was the rib cage and the dogs drug it off.

I've made it home. What a whirlwind 24 hours.

In reflection of the last day, I can honestly say, I am truly blessed. My daughters love each other so much and are there for each other, no matter what.
S was there when C had little sprout. She's been there all day today, taking Princess out of there when she got tired and bored, getting food for C, getting a Green River from the Streamliner for her. And the list goes on and on. K was there as well, but S freed him up so he could stay with Mommy and Sprout.

Sprout is healthy, happy and just perfect in my eyes. I could almost cry with my blessings right now.

One of the reasons never to go out in the GSF without a firearm and good SA. I watched one of these ambush, pull down and kill a fully grown doe.

I carry my .38 in the yard. I have had dogs come after me here in my own yard in the past. Between the dogs, coyotes and trespassers, it just makes sense to carry.
