Ice wine is normally made from grapes still on the vine after the first frost, it concentrates the sugar making a very sweet wine. The real stuff is astronomically expensive but she like a less expensive variety from Huber which I'm sure comes from a concentrate of some kind that's purchased commercially. This time I'll keep after it until I figure out how to make it.

The real ice wine we like cost about $50 but it is very good.

Never have had the Cedar Creek ice wine, the gardener is a fan of Huber's Autumn Frost which is good. They make way too much of it for it to be made in the traditional fashion, so I just have to be persistent until I figure it out. It's 20$ a pint so I figure with some work I'll be able to reproduce it.
