    I was notified this afternoon that one of the 3 flag poles looked like it was going to fall down....or something. They couldn't really describe it. I thought to myself it's a flag pole, a pole and a rope... I checked it out and it was vibrating. I mean the top was visibly vibrating some, the middle was really vibrating and you could feel the vibrations at the base. The other 2 were still. I should have taken a video. It didn't look like is was going to fall over but I had no idea what was happening or how to stop it. :laugh:
    I got my boss to come look at it. He had my grab the halyard (rope), walk out with it and pull. The pole stopped vibrating. I got a quick lesson on resonant vibrations. :)

    Then came the vibrating pole references. :)
