Evening all

I found out today that two BIG bucks were taken by neighbors opening weekend. I know which two...hubby saw them run past his hunting condo and heard one shot shortly thereafter...not which one that neighbor got but was told the guy across the next county road also got one so I'm pretty sure that was the other one I have been watching. I was rooting for the deer, but apparently they are too busy thinking about girls to be wary of what is in the woods. Another neighbor told us he saw a 12 pointer in the intersection a half mile north of us the other day. I hope he finds my yard and stays safe.

Coyotes seem to be taking over! Tons of them on the camera card hubby got from the camera in the woods today. Same neighbor that told me about the deer said she had two coyotes in her yard today at 2 this afternoon.

I was going to get in the shop and finish the AR I have been tinkering with.

We have a Pig farm and they like to hit the compose pill all the time. So we usually go quite a bit. Shot around 15 dogs last year.

I ordered a box of this while I was shopping on Cabela's site today. This will be a special treat for those critters.

Maybe the rain will help limit how many more deer disappear...not seeing many here at this point. A few does with their young ones and one of those is so small it looks like it should still have spots.
