Yes it is. I just hope I can keep it at bay for a reasonable amount of years before I have to deal with those kinds of issues. Apparently, this guy has been dealing with it for around 40 years. He's not that old though. He started with it in his 20's from what I am told.

Thankfully, even though I've been dealing with diabetes for almost 20 years now, I show no signs of the kind of problems my neighbor has. I plan to keep it that way as long as I can. It's still a daily struggle though. Such is life.
