Hiya mom, Did you ever go to Eberly's orchard in North Liberty? He passed away Sat., I think he was 88yrs old. said the orcard was in bussiness for 50 yrs.

Was too bad, spent a large part of it dealing with the demands of a difficult customer..... Wasn't an issue I was going to get my blood pressure up over though...

I had never been there but met him as a seminar in Plymouth. It was in the county complex and he approached the sign in table in front of me saying he was there for the bomb building class. Boy, did that get a reaction!! LOL!! I loved him right off the bat....what a character. I knew he was in his 80's...sorry to hear he passed. He and my husband had some great chats and he gave us some good advice on tree care. He and I hit it off right away at that seminar and stayed in touch after that. I lost contact with him after we closed our business. I think he closed his about the same time we did.


Off to fix dinner...phone call distracted me.

Yummy pork stir fry...Red & green peppers, carrots, onion, mushrooms, broccoli, cauliflower and walnuts....with jasmine rice....I am stuffed and the whole meal was prob only 500 calories...
