I did that once with a neighbor. We had a leaf war. He'd rake them in my yard, I'd take them back. It was all in good fun.

we have those rules too but in the sticks people don't abide by them. people down the road from me are idiots. They burn them along the road, next to one of there maples and a telephone pole.

We used to burn them at the shop. We had massive piles and would soak them in used gas, diesel, paint thinner, and acetone. One time my boss did a "hey ya'll watch this" and soaked the pile with 5 gallons of the stuff, made a fuel trail then waited a few minutes. When he lit it the pile lifted about 10 feet off the ground, made a loud boom and scattered burning leaves all over the place. That was the last time we did that

Argos did that as well. I burned a lot of them though when I lived there. Now I bag them. like the .gov tells me to
