Everyone should buy a tomahawk.... You know you want one :D
As a matter of fact, I want two! :yesway:

Is it true that XD Owners prefer to drive Yugo's ? Just wondering!! :D

I know I'm not the firearms connoisseur you are, but I really like my XD45. I usually stay out of the bashing threads. What is supposed to be wrong with them?

Serious question, I'd really like to know.

And no, I've never driven a Yugo. My step-sister had one a long time ago, does that count? :D

Oh I'm just poking fun! the one thing that will keep me off of them is the grip safety, and I really don't like the looks of them!! but that's just me, that is why there is different gun manufacturers out there same as they make different cars not everyone is going to like Fords :stickpoke: :D

I can see a grip safety being a potential problem if it were necessary to shoot from an unconventional position or grip. But I can also see it being less of an issue if that's what you're used to.

Like you said, a lot of it is just personal preference. Guns wouldn't be nearly as much fun if they were all the same, right?

I'm no expert, but it looks to me like the "spike" model would be fine for throwing. I thought about getting two different ones but if I'm gonna practice throwing, I'd rather have two of the exact same thing.

I need to start bending up some wire so I can brand my initials into the handle.

For me personally it boils down to two things-- the grip safety and oddly tall slide on the subcompact. Keep in mind that these are relatively small issues that keep me from picking it over a Glock or M&P.

That makes sense. When I bought mine, I was specifically looking for a full size so I guess I never really noticed. Mine is the 5" with the stainless slide. I also knew I wanted a .45 and I must say I was attracted to the 14 round capacity of the XD.

I tried the same. Everyone on this page must have gotten repped recently... I guess we may have to leave this thread and rep outsiders today... I am scared...
