LUCKY!!! I wish I could get some good luck like that for once! All I seem to get lately is bad luck.

All I seem to be getting lately is gas
I use to win crap all of the time!..hell,the day I turned 18 I won $10,000 in the lottery..havent won a dime since then. last thing I won was a hat..and that was 3 years ago
now my daughter..she wins almost everything she enters! just last week she won a bike at camp..out of 200 kids she won it..and a week before that she won one of them razor scooter thingies

my wife got a call today about her blood work and they said my wife is at high risk for having a baby with downs so she has to go see some sort of "high risk" doctor. she was also told she has a bladder infection..IDK if thats anything to worry about or not I never ask for prayer request and Im not a very openly religious person...but I've seen first hand what the power of prayer can do. so if yall would be so kind to keep us in your prayers we would greatly appreciate it.

Absolutely. I've never been very religious myself, but having recently accepted the Lord as my Savior, I will most certainly pray for you all. That's the scariest thing in the world, but I'm confident that you're a great enough man to handle whatever God throws your way. Just keep your head up and pray for the best.

I know the feeling man. I've been in a 2 year slump, but things SEEM to be turning around for us. Just keep on keeping on. Having met you and Relic, I know you guys will be ok.

And for the record, this will make the 3rd real concert I've ever been to. I got to see John Michael Montgomery and two others in '96 (still have the t-shirt), and got to see Alan Jackson and LeAnn Rhimes in '99. I need to see who all is going to be with B&D tonight...

Yeah I always try to keep my head up and trust that the Lord will help me get through things. And he always does seem to help out in some way or another. Just gotta keep the faith. Its just gonna probably take a bit of time and some work. But I'll make it through, always do.

I havent actually been to any real concerts. Just ones at church youth conferences and stuff like that, or small garage bands. I don't have any luck winning tickets like my mom and have better things to spend my money on.

Hey buddy-

Don't worry too much about that blood test. We had the exact same issue with the twins; in fact, my wife was only seen by a high-risk specialist. They have other tests they can do that give you a better idea of the odds.

We ended up in a VERY high risk segment, with a 1 in 60 chance that the twins could have had downs syndrome. But here we are today with two beautiful babies with absolutely no problems at all.

We had decided that we would have the kids if one/both of them had downs anyway. That put our mind at ease. We were ready to love whatever God gave us.

I will certainly pray for you and your wife. But don't get too concerned yet... there are still other tests coming up that will tell you more. And, higher risk is just that -- a higher risk.
