Just went upstairs to put my daughter to bed and found one of our cats dead in the hallway, two dead pets in less then a week, I hope we don't lose anymore

That's kinda weird to lose 2 critters in 1 week.

We have alarms and they don't go off, cat had a bad heart but he was fine this morning. Cat was only 5 years old but we don't know how old the guinea pig was.

That's really scary. You should definitely take the unburied cat to the vet.

Maybe open up a few windows tonight just to be safe.
