Howdy Expat! They do look happy, although those don't look like no cowboy shootin' irons I've ever seen.

Put 10 rnds into a group at 50yds covered with a dime today. Only problem was it was with Norma Tac-22 ammo and I have to shoot it single-shot cuz it won't cycle the action. I'm confident there will be other ammo that will shoot as well.

That is one of the reasons I was so excited to get this particular one...Light wood, just like the one my dad had. Great contrast with the rosewood forearm and pistol grip caps. I couldn't be happier.

Just talked to my best friend. He's going to be calling the house phone pretending to be Santa and ask to talk to Bryson and Brydon and tell them that he's heard that they've been misbehaving and warn them that he won't come tonight unless they start minding Mimi and Papaw, pick up their toys and clean their room.

That worked like a charm! Those boys' eyes got big, and they started cleaning up the living room and putting their toys away and then went back and started cleaning up their room.

"Santa" told them that it also shouldn't be just for one day. They needed to behave all year long and mind Mimi and Papaw, put their toys away when they're done with them, etc.. He did a great job. Threw in a lot of "ho ho ho's" intermittently too.
