Well, Obama has never hidden his belief that the U.S. needs to be more of a 'third-world' country and less of a 'world leader'.

Look at his actions. He doesn't believe, so much, in 'raising up' the impoverished as he does taking down those that have 'more'. UNLESS, 'of course' it's HIM or his ilk.

Don't know about January specifically, but it fits the pattern; the department of injustice filed suit against AZ, who were trying to enforce a state law that encoded the federal immigration law very faithfully. Don't reckon the federal law was being enforced, what with AZ having to duplicate it, and the fed trying to prevent states from doing it, eh?

I don't get the question. Illegal immigration has been an issue long before Obama took office. Aren't the escorts to escort the unattended children back to their home country? I'm assuming we don't just put 6 year olds on planes and send them back alone.

Illegals smuggle children all the time. Daddy made it into the states years ago, now Jr is big enough to make the trip, or Mommy flaked out, or Mommy is making the run later but they don't have enough money for the Coyote for both of them right now, etc. Children get caught. Children get sent back. Someone has to guard, process, and escort them back.

Of course they didn't. That's like saying bales of marijuana float across the border. People and narcotics both have extensive logistic support in place to cross our borders.
