Thanks again Patience and Barb for opening your home to the bunch of us today. It was one of the best days I’ve spent with friends and guns in a long time.

I posted this in the old CZ thread and it closed before I ever got a response.
    Anyone?

I've been reading good things about the The CZ-75 SP-01 Phantom as the greatest polymer full-size out there.
But, for those who know me and my preferences for heavy guns and the CZs that I've had and the FNS Longslide (a fantastic big polymer), and since I have the Shadow 2, is there any reason to look at the Phantom?

The Phantoms are a really good full size service pistol. They can be tuned to a higher degree than the P09s can but can’t reach the capacities that the P09 can. I’ve had the pleasure to shoot a couple of nicely tuned Phantoms and it’s a sweet shooter when fixed up. I have a stock one that’s still a nice shooter, but is not quite as nice as it could be.

So fun story, Alexis and I hung around for awhile longer after the others left just to get some longer distance practice in. Huge thank you to Patience for letting us stay.

Alexis did the following with her last 10 shots:
-6 at the 200 yard line in which she got one target stuck and knocked another of each of the two stands
-4 at 400 yards. 2 hit the smaller (8” maybe) plate, one hit the larger plate and one missed

I’m thoroughly impressed with how she did. I tried at 400+ yards and missed all 10.

    To all who attended.

We thoroughly enjoyed the fellowship, fun ,and food that was provided. Admired the safe range behaviour that was displayed. And are thankful for the ability to provide room for the socialization.

It was good to finally meet Rusty Hornet. He's a good man on the plate rack reset rope.;)
He should hang out here more.:twocents:

Aeroflyer's other half outshot him after everybody left. 3 for 4 -vs- 0 for 4 at 400.:rockwoot:

It was a great day. Sorry that Trigger Time was missing. But things happen. Missed you.

Have I said it was a great day?
