I am so looking forward to tomorrow. Today can not go fast enough. The coworker I share an office with is off today. So I will have a quiet/boring day.

We are looking forward to good heat being provided by a gas furnace. Spent the last 13 years dealing with crappy cable ceiling heat. Should be a much more comfortable winter for us.

I think the wife turned the heat on yesterday. I don’t mind since my den can get cold with the hard concrete floor. I think I’ve narrowed the choices for tomorrow down and spent last night marking magazines.

At every shoot I’ve been to in the past, I’ve taken guns that did not get shot. I’m trying hard to weed those ones out and only take the stuff that will get shot. I’m on the fence about the Phantom tomorrow. On one hand, there will be better Phantom’s there, so no need to take it as an example of what’s good about CZs. On the other hand, I need to run the thing and if there’s a dueling tree, that’s probably the gun I want to shoot with it. It still has only about 300 rounds through it, but about 2500 dry fires.

I'd been discussing shooting after work with a couple of the team and decided to ask the new manager what she thought. Was happy to hear she was a 2A supporter as well and thought it would make a good team bonding event...
