I wouldn't carry a .22 LR, but I wouldn't want to get shot by one either.
I just don't want to get shot by anything if I can avoid it. So far so good :)

    Edit: CZ

Did someone just call for shots? I’ll hold off on having one until after PT tonight. I’ll be there with you after though.

    Scope rings.

I have them set out. Now if I can only remember them when I pack...

Anyone know much about the Sig 1911 Scorpion CAR-45-SCP good, bad, hard to find? It is cool looking :cool:I will have one this weekend along with the Shadow 2 from a friend for us to shoot!

I'd love to shoot both :D

If I ever get the DW Specialist - it'll be in .45acp

I think that 9mm cartridge is sacrilege for a 1911.

    YMMV

    My thought exactly!

We will shoot the Valor and ECO another time.
YES! Yes we will. I'll bring the Vigil along too, which should be real similar to the Valor in the "was that a squirt gun I just shot?" factor.

I saw these pieces. I as excited until the part that said.....9mm.....:(
I know, I know! But it's everything fun and beautiful about a 1911 with the affordability of 9mm.

I’m a numbers guy and I was running the numbers on the various Czickness threads and we are right at about 80723 in total posts. It’s interesting to go back to the very beginnings to see what we were shooting and talking about. It’s also interesting to see how many of us have been in from the early days. Of course, BA was post #1. The list goes:

    Hopper - post #2,
    CM - #4
    Mr Wizard - 5,
    Patience - 25,
    88E - 33,
    Barry - 39,
    KJ - 40,
    Jagee - 41
    WTB - 42

I stopped counting there. It is good to see so many of the old timers in this thread still around. We did lose a bunch along the way, such as Rusty was in the first 50 crowd. Nice also to see the new guys too.
Wow, I was #2?!? Not in the bathroom sense of course. BA's satin nickel compact is really what started it for me. This is a cool bit of statistical digging, thanks 88 for posting this!

I've been bitten hard by the DW bug lately, but honestly, my Ruger SR1911s have *never* failed to set off a round, and at a price point that's more easily digestable should one end up in an evidence locker for a while.

I have owned a few and yes they would serve well in this capacity. I have all the cool ignition bits from the DW so if I find something I can do the trigger up to at least be acceptable. And (heaven forbid) it ends up in gun jail I will not need group therapy.
