    Happy New Year!

Took the oldest to NYE Church service last night so mama could stay home and enjoy an evening of R&R. Mom and I stayed up watching a movie and flipped to the ball drop.

Today I am missing our New Years Day range trips, @T-DOGG …..

This year I’d love to get a 1911 of some flavor back in my hands. As well as a Henry H001TLP small game carbine…

But I’ve also got urges to build us another fun family car of 1930’s vintage…

Next car I want to build (if I ever get back to that) is some kind of a 1937 Buick 60/40 type coupe. Kinda a touring resto-mod. Nothing over the top. Sigh...someday....

I love those. Super easy to find. Lots of parts available for them too. I’d recommend keeping the inline 8 as they are great smooth runners and plenty of torque. But adding a modern 5 speed and rear axle ratio. That is essentially what I want to do with a Chevy of that era, but updated to a 50’s in-line 6 and a modern 5 speed.
