#2 son called last night and said he can't visit for the holidays as he has to work nearly every day. We sang Merry Christmas to him over the phone.

I do wish he could find steady work, but the constant supply of jobs in Atlanta pay well and he seems happy.

As usual lately, only our youngest daughter will join us. The oldest and her husband are hunkered down in L.A., and still recovering from their bout of covid.
(yeah, L.A. sucks, but it's where the hub of their industry works .... the aerospace industry)

He gave up club security but still does private party work for people he knows so I can understand why he's busy around the holidays.

One more trip out into the madness today and should be in the clear, as far as anything Christmas related. A few CZ parts were delivered so fingers crossed its quick trip so I can get back and get to tinkering on the TSO. Not sold on the CZC optic mount yet.

As much as I hate what Colorado is trying to do to their Ballot, it sure is beautiful out there. I spent about a year total in Colorado when I was in the Air Force. Back then, it was a different world as far as the people, and attitudes.

I was looking through some photos this morning, and ran into this one of the overlook to Garden of the Gods (near Colorado Springs). I can smell the pine-fresh air just by looking at this !

I have some pics of one of the mountains near there. Pics aren't as nice because it was an overcast day, but I remember the trip well. Gorgeous scenery.
