Car brakes fixed. I had them put on a new master cylinder $199 for it alone.
Total labor, fluid, and parts was $298.
    So it's back in action.
The master cylinder was supposed to be the best NAPA had. Hopefully it will last until the car wheels fall of.

Good grief that’s cheap for your total bill. Wow.

    Hey-O .... good morning !
The ground is getting very saturated here. It looks like a full day of rain.
That just means it is almost baseball season.

Looks like about 500 16 and under baseball and softball players for evaluations on Sunday - not try-outs as everyone makes a team.

Had to replace the left rear brake caliper on the Outback. Brake light started flashing and found the brake slightly dragging causing the pads to completely wear down. Had just replaced them 2 months ago.
This is why I always replace the caliper and line to it when I do brakes. Usually worth the expense. Nobody rebuilds calipers anymore, it seems..

That's right .... one of your favorite, but yet busy times of the year.
Have you found an appropriate worry-stone for the pro baseball season ? ;)

I am filled with pre-season optimism. The Yankees are headed to the World Series.

Barring injury, stupid manager line up decisions and as long as 4 of the 5 starting pitchers have career years, and Holmes can close and the middle doesn't collapse, and rizzo bounces back, and soto is a stud and verdugo isn't an idiot, and the catcher position produces above career averages, and Volpe progresses, and we find a utility guy...and, now here is the big one, Cashman doesn't make any more mid-season disaster trade deals.

    That sure is a lot "ifs, isn'ts, and don'ts" ! :):

Agree 100%. I have done brake hoses only and had the calipers come back to haunt me and vice versa. Hoses and calipers go together like sausages and cannons.
